Vedas and our Life

The Vedas word comes from Sanskrit verb Vid - to know. Ved is a Sanskrit word and its meaning in English language is "Knowledge". The Vedas help us to find answers/solutions of any type of Problems in life. It is because Vedas have all the knowledge integrated with it.

The Vedas are अपौरुषेय - not of human agency. They have been directly revealed through the Seers (ऋषि) during there Ultra super concious state - (तप).

Vedas are literally meant for Universal society as it contains Universal message such as "वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम" - Entire universe is my family and

  सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिनः सर्वे शन्तु निरामयाः
सर्वे भद्राणि पश्यन्तु|
मा कश्चिद् दुखः माप्नुयत||
Om, May All become Happy, May All become free from Illness.
May All see what is Auspicious, Let no one Suffer.

Vedas are having highly Sacred, Divine, Universal and powerful messages in form of Mantras. Vedic Mantras are being considered as powerful medium to achieve four main Purusharthas of human kind - such as Dharm - धर्म  (Vedic duties/principles), Arth - अर्थ (Wealth/Money/Gain), Kam - काम (Sensual Gratification) and Moksha - मोक्ष (Liberation).
